Dutch gave me an amazing gift! He let me succeed in a sport I wanted to do all my life. He became;

Ever since then I have been training dogs, teaching obedience classes and doing some competing. It is my passion. I have to admit that I love the training far more than the competition. I truly enjoy watching my dogs learn. I have shown in AKC, UKC, and ASCA obedience. I have trialed in Schutzhund and done a little conformation competition as well. I like to do everything.
I became interested in German Shepherds because I wanted a dog who could take weather extremes, was eager to learn, and of course beautiful. I believe that the GSD represents that ideal. I studied pedigrees and met tons of GSD's before settling on the bloodlines I chose.

I do breed occasionally and have been known to give away dogs to homes that are interested in competing in any dog event. I ALWAYS give priority to people who will work my dogs in some venue (GSD or Schip). I also co-own dogs with people who like to compete. When I breed, I try to choose the best temperaments as I feel that is the most important thing in any dog. I belong to several clubs and do take my puppies out to learn about the world. Being an obedience instructor, I understand the need for socialization and good temperament.

This is Brie vom Anlaufstelle, a.k.a. "The Black Blur" showing off her agility skills in class with owner Lisa Holt.
I chose Schipperkes as a small dog with the same desire to work as a GSD. These guys are go-getters. Plus I wanted a breed that was hearty. I had seen too many smaller breeds with horrible health issues and I just didn't want that. Schips fit the bill nicely. Watch for our Schipperkes competing in future agility trials!
